Cool to hear a lot of NOES survivors will be returning. Let's see who survived in that series: Freddy's Dead(Maggie/Katherine Krueger, Tracy and Doc), Dream Child(Alice, Jacob, Yvonne), Dream Warriors(Neil Gordon, maybe Dr Simms and Max), and Freddy's Revenge(Jesse, Lisa, Kerry, if the ending was just a dream).

The movie's not gonna happen, so save yourself the heartache and just live with it. I loved the first series and can't wait for another. They should give Nancy a cameo, like Ash seeks her out for some advice against Freddy. Make it a ****ing SMORGASBORD of classic horror characters.

awesome! the first one was ****ing amazing. seriously, one of the best stories featuring these characters. Its a shame it wasnt made into a movie cuz it wouldve been sick. Cant wait for this one. if anything Im gald the story got published as a graphic novel. I need to go subscribe to this tital now!

****ing Sam Raimi. because of him we never got a sequel to Freddy vs Jason with Ash
Posted by: Colin on March 8, 2009 at 13:21:52
Bruce didn't want to do it either, El Chingon.

When is this comming out! I want to see Ash out quip Freddy! I was dissapointed that the first one did not have Jason and Freddy fighting Deadites.

how do i watch the first one

Tony
It's a comicbook. Go out and buy it.
And just for the record, Bruce Campbell was willing to do it. He said so on a secret easter egg on one of the Evil Dead games. Raimi passed on it because he didnt want them to change anything with the character because he still has plans for Evil Dead 4.

So can WE see the pictures, shocktillyoudrop?
The art in the first series was pretty inconsistent, sometimes it looked good and captured the likenesses well, but frequently it looked rushed and sketchy. I hope for the sequel they take their time and don't rush it.

Who's Art? Never heard of him

Dax
I wouldnt say the art seemed rushed, the word i'd use is inconsistant. There were times when Ash randomly looked older than he did earlier (and later0 in the comic and Freddy's look would constantly change throughout the story. I would say that the artwork for the gore and mutilated bodies was very detailed.
But it still didnt really bother me.

The first series was decent, so I would be willing to give this one a shot.
However, I'm worried about it being released. Wildstorm was holding the right to print Freddy and Jason (as well as Leatherface) related comic books, but it's been well over a year since anything featuring those three have come out! There was maybe one or two FT13 one-shots early last year, but nothing with Freddy and Leatherface since that New Line's Tales of Terror comic came out at the end of 2007. So, my worries come about because I don't know when the contract between Wildstorm and New Line will run out, and I'm wondering if they'll be willing to renew since there has been no new comic releases in so long.
In that case, Dynamite (who does the Ash related books) will have to strike up a deal with whoever gets the rights to Freddy and Jason.

Damn, I thought they were talking about art for a movie....I hope once the new Freddy franchise kicks off they decide to do more versus movies....maybe have Freddy, Michael, & Jason face off, then Ash, Michael, Jason, and Freddy all in one. I could see a long series of movies coming from this if done right.

I'd like to see Jacob from Nightmare on Elm Street 5 (The Dream Child).

i have the freddy vs jason vs ash comics and they pretty cool but i dont kno about a movie cause first of all ash cant kill jason even if he tried jason is to strong, slick, and fast. freddy he could probably kill but not so sure. why should it even be ash i hate that guy put michael myers in the sequel or leatherface.
