I am lovin this $h!t. Every little update is a tease and I can't wait, but I'm sure this newest news will bring on the haters.

Still doesn't explain how Loomis's skull can get crushed in, then he's writing books for the sequel.

what? Huh, sounds interesting.

havent people seen the orginal ones he was burnt and that didnt kill him.

You guys should watch the previous film's director's cut so you can escape from your confused state. In it, we see that Loomis is alive after his encounter with Myers. This has been pointed out a couple of hundred times. Having obviously survived, he is writing books for the sequel.

LOL this is interesting, I wonder if Myers slays Weird Al.
Posted by: ShannmanLives on March 26, 2009 at 19:43:46
I've always liked Weird Al's stuff, but this sounds like a horrible idea. I have no hope for this film anyway. The first movie was a dreadful, cliche ridden hack job, and this film is going to become even worse. Zombie couldn't direct his way out of a paper bag. Corpses was bad and non-sensical, rejects was just pathetic, and Halloween was an hour and a half of my life I want back.
Stick to music, zombie. At least then I can just turn you off.
Posted by: Calum on March 27, 2009 at 00:19:56
Actually, ShannmanLives, Halloween was two hours. You want two hours of your life back.
And while we're on the subject, I want 38 seconds of my life back for reading your criticism about Rob Zombie, seriously, who gives a ****.

You can do the same to a DVD, or, better yet, don't buy a ticket, you ****ing douche.

Maybe Weird Al should have played Micheal Myers and Micheal "Austin Powers" Myers could have played Dr Loomis.
Why are they making this? Can you say straight to video piece of unholy crap.
Is this one going to have a big hospital set up like the "original" Halloween 2.
Original Halloween 2. . . how insane does that sound.
Why are they doing remakes of sequels?
Well at least it can't be as bad as Superman Returns where they pretended that parts of Superman the Movie and Superman II happened while parts of the rest of the series did not happen. . . Wait come to think of it this is just like that. . .

"The Devils Rejects" was a great movie. You may not like the material, but there is no denying how well the movie was made. I loved everything about it. Shannmanlives you sound like a little tweeza.

what is all this speculation about what weird al will be doing , it explains it in the post he will be hosting a talk show with dr. loomis. it's not like they are gonna have michael run in and start killing them .

Led Zeppelin.... moron
Posted by: GW on March 29, 2009 at 22:39:04
Led Zeppelin, you bring shame to that name. The band is tarnished you, for you having used it.
The ignorance of the haters is astounding, and it's more obvious every day. Most of them aren't even properly educated about the film (a "remake of the sequel"... too funny). I do hope they continue; it's really quite amusing. I certainly hope they don't take 30 seconds to actually read anything about the film and have well informed, well put together opinions.
On to something that matters: Weird Al in H2. The fact that this movie is being made is enough to get me to see it. The updates are getting me even more excited, but I didn't see this coming. I've been a Weird Al fan since his "Even Worse" days. I have to wonder if the name of the show (The Newman Hour) is a nod to the character of George Newman, played by Weird Al back in the 80's in the film UHF. In any case, I'm happy he's involved and I look forward to seeing what he'll be doing on this talk show.

Pictures say a thousand words but from the still shot it looks like Dr. Loomis is trying to expose the world to real threats that are out there and the best place he can do this, is on a bad TV late night program with pop stars dumping their wares as well. All respect to the Lynwood crew! UHF RULES!!
