Yay, it's playing at our cheap seat theatre too in Saginaw, MI! The cast is fabulous so I was hoping to get the chance to see this.

Someone at the Mobuis forum also said that some second hand theaters in the Mideast were releasing this as both TOWN CREEK and THE CREEK,for this isn't a good sign for a Joel Schumacher film(knowing how he's a Jerry Bruckheimer-esque filmmaker[with the exception of 8MM])in terms of LIonsgate handling this as they did with both THE MIDNIGHT MEAT TRAIN and HORSEMEN.
BTW:if Lionsgate would have held MIDNIGHT MEAT TRAIN in the vault a little longer and released it right now, they probably would have nationally released it and heavily plugged it as a Bradley Cooper starring film(knowing how Bradley Copper was then-little known[at the time] before his blockbuster success with THE HANGOVER).

It's being released in the UK on 9 October under the former (2nd) title Creek, but unlike the USA is getting a nationwide first-run cinema release. The UK release isn't being handled by Lionsgate, but by Entertainment Film Distributors. Go figure!

FOOTNOTE TO LAST COMMENT:
Entertainment Film Distributors have suddenly pulled the film from its scheduled UK release on Friday and it has not yet been given an alternative UK release date (as at time of posting) according to launchingfilms.com, the UK Film Distributors Association official website.
