A Second Sales Trailer from Romero's Survival of the Dead!

Source:Voltage Pictures
October 31, 2009

As the American Film Market approaches, Voltage Pictures has cooked up another sales trailer for George A. Romero's Survival of the Dead. You can watch it by clicking on the player below.

Although the film has enjoyed a festival run the last few months - read our positive review right here - it still does not have American distribution. That should be remedied soon enough.

In this entry, a war-weary band of soldiers are lured to a remote island that promises to be the last paradise on earth, only to discover that even here there is no escape from the appetites of either the living or the dead.

Watch the first promo and a clip here!

Looks sweet.
Dare I get my hopes up and predict the old George has returned?
Long live the King!

Looks like Romero added alot more comedy than in the previous installments, or did this trailer just focus on those aspects of the film?

Looks cool either way.

There is humor again because they are living with the zombies somewhat controlled or contained. But it really looks like George may have made another really goood low budget zombie film, again. With the waring farmers as an antagonist, this film should give us a unique picture. I'm excited, whens the release date?

I really hope they are still finishing the CGI to make it less obvious. I know the trailer is raw, but I hope the CGI is too.

Spanish39, couldn't agree more. Diary of the Dead was an embarrassment. The CGI (which I know is cheaper but I wish he wouldn't use) was so bad, it made an already terrible movie unwatchable. This looks like another disappointment.
