Not sure where the story will go; nor do I care.
I hope Scream 4 comes out on the same day, so it could kill it at the box office.

Shut up Joey Some people like it i for one still like the series.

Another film of gore with no substance. With VI the real massacre was at the box office. Why are they still pushing this?

Why are they still pushing this.To annoy folk like you.

i hope SOMETHING....ANYTHING comes out (like PA did) on Halloween to displace SAW even more. i'm sick & tired of studios being afraid to go up against a faded and tired franchise. maybe that'll change now that they see (thanx to PA) movies CAN do good business against SAW part 500000.

and LaidToRest, you just can't handle ANYTHING against your precious tired franchise. and if you are named after the ABYSMAL movie of the same name (one of the worst pieces of tripe that makes the SAWS look like OSCAR winners) you may just want to sit down and shut up. stop embarrassing yourself.

Saw VII should have Dr. Gordon back.
There are alot of clues in each movie stating that Dr. Gordon is the second Jigsaw.
What was in the envelope that Jill Tuck delivered in the hospital?
I believe that it was Dr. Gordon's office that Jill Tuck delivered in the mailslot.

Well, Paranormal Activity destroyed the last Saw movie at the BO and I expect another movie to be released near Halloween because based off the BO numbers of the last movie, studios this time around won't be hesitant to release horror movies to compete with Saw.
I'm assuming Halloween (3D = blah) or Scream 4?
I haven't seen another Saw movie since the third one (Saw 1-2 was good), nor do I want to see the other movies maybe until the franchise ends and they release a DVD box set.

The story won't "turn" anywhere. This series hasn't had a story to "turn" since the third movie. It's all just an excuse to put people in elaborate traps and then kill them, it really is that stupidly simple.
Posted by: LaidToRest on November 11, 2009 at 21:40:35
But you will still watch it 22nd October 2010.

i think scream 4 would beat saw 'what ever it's on' 3-D
cause saw, it's getting tired and you can tell people really don't care for the movie anymore after the last one didn't get that much money.
i can't wait til it's over

All the negative comments are similar to what the Scream franchise had, now that they gave it a break it's return is welcome. I guess what I'm saying is, how can we miss Saw if it doesn't leave??
Just take 1-5 years off.
Posted by: Fridge on November 11, 2009 at 23:33:13
LaidToRest,
Seeing as I haven't paid to see a Saw movie since the third one, I think it's pretty safe to say that no, no I wont.
Enjoy your mediocrity, though.

ANY 90 minutes or so I can spend with COSTAS MANDYLOR, is the best film I have ever seen!I am certain the negative comments thus far are by men. Don't feel bad, ther is only one COSTAS.

Im very glad to hear Costas is back. I really enjoy the Hoffman character.

I for one am very excited that the yearly 'SAW' tradition will continue and they will definitely earn my money opening weekend. What's more, the fact that part VII will be in 3-D makes this chapter a must-see. I think the SAW series is wonderfully produced. Most horror franchises lose their way both in fron of and behind the camera by the second sequel. That SAW has maintained a consistent cast and narrative through what will soon be 7 films is an amazing accomplishment and proof that while, yes, the filmmakers are cranking these out to make a profit (Hello! It's called showBUSINESS) they also care about pleasing their fanbase. Lastly, I find it comforting that horror finally has another numerical franchise and that I don't have to wait more than a year for the next installment. Much like the fun and entertaining Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street franchises before it, SAW keeps delivering a yearly horror-fest that is both fun and entertaining. Bravo SAWmakers for not blinking and ensuring that moviegoers can count on at least one scary movie to actually be released around Halloween! And as long as you fabulously wicked SAWmakers keep producing quality installments that go to the big screen, I will be there opening weekend to support you.
