it's JUST a movie! it's not like it raped & murdered your entire family!! relax. and this movie (for those on the fence after seeing TWILIGHT) is MUCH more action-y. the werewolves parts were actually (with the sound FX and everything in context) were actually pretty good! the whole Volturi parts in Italy were VERY good! Michael Sheen, as usual, was spot on. Dakota is only in that scene for a total of like 3 minutes but she was wonderfully creepy (her character).

David Slade, I love what you did with vampires on 30 Days of Night, but I have to say that you sir, are now a sell out. How you can go from a vision of what vampires truly are to some sparkly, teen crap is beyond me.
As a horror fan, I'm disappointed that the youth of mainstream America are being introduced with this crap as vampires. Most of them won't go on to watch some of the great vampire movies of our lifetimes, and they won't see some of the new ones. But they will turn out to see crap like this because it was "cool" when they were young.

Vampires are overrated anyways. I'd like to see them portrayed as disease spreading vermin that are much more frightening than cliche "sexy vampires". Besides, one the lammest things about them in movies is that they need to feed yet all they really do is munch down on a person for mere seconds and then jump on to the next victim. If they need to consume blood then why do they disgard a body with probrably a month's supply of blood? What a waste. Whats the purpose in that?

Twilight's not just a bunch of sparkling crap. It portrays sexism, abusive relationships, pedophilia, suicide, and everything a teenager should NOT find attractive or romantic. It's unoriginal, poorly-written, plotless, bastardizes vampires and werewolves, and idealizes abuse. It's pretty much the single worst franchise born in the 21st century thus far.
