I like how they show pics that are close to the original to fool you. Remember when Jason kidnapped people? I don't. But Dunes does.

And what's this junk about Freddy being innocent? Like Jason and Leatherface were just "Kids who got picked on..." What happened to evil? What's with this "Poor ol me" crap?

People take a stand. If you really love these series, don't see these. Let these people trying to cash in on your love fail until some one who cares can do it right. I'd rather the series never have another sequel than let it be crapped on by Michael Bay.

Boycott Platinum Dunes until they make original movies!

Jason's sub-plot of him being a child that was picked on and ignored has been around since the very first film. If you're going to attack Platinum Dunes, attack them for something logical. I enjoyed the new Friday the 13th one of the better entries in the entire series, and most certainly the best Jason portrayal, though Kane Hodder will always have a special place in my heart.

That said, this is the weekend of my birthday, and Freddy is my favorite, and he is BACK! So I will most certainly be dragging everyone I know out to this film. Looking forward to it. Stoked to see where PD takes Leatherface and the TCM series as well!

Sure do! In Friday the 13th Part 3 (1982) he kidnaps Chris and drags her out into the woods, the next morning she wakes up and he's gone. But hey you think you know everything and now its apparent you don't know jack. Hows that for your theory.

Definitely can't wait for this movie to come out. Plus Freddy truly looks like a burnt victim in this movie, so that make it more real. But I will always love the original.
Also we all know the back story about Freddy but this time we actually get to see it, so this makes it more interesting to watch.
Platinum Dunes, in my opinion, has done a very good job on bringing back Jason and Leatherface. Can't wait for Friday the 13th part 2.

Maybe he just doesnt want them to murder him. Didnt it ever occur to anyone that someone who kills kids might say or do anything to avoid punishment?

As for the look, get over it. He's a burn victim, that's what it looks like. If he looked just like the original the same people that are *****ing now would complain that PD was just ripping off the original.

While Friday the 13th was disappointing TCM was awesome. Just watch this movie and enjoy the experience. After all...its just a movie.

I am always going to take an remake over an classic. Remakes deliver an higher amount of blood and gore and scares. PS. There are fans of classic and fans of remakes, deal with it!
