Paramount Adapting Vampire Comic Damn Nation
Source:The Hollywood Reporter
December 15, 2009
Writers Ashley Edward Miller and Zack Stentz have been tapped to adapt the Dark Horse Entertainment futuristic vampire story Damn Nation into a feature film for Paramount. The original comic (based on a comic by Andrew Cosby and art by Jason Alexander) is set in a U.S. that's been evacuated after an attack from "inhuman nocturnal predators," and tells the tale of the survivors after the government has been forced to relocate to London while scientists search for a solution.
Miller and Stentz most recently scripted the upcoming Thor movie for Marvel, and also worked on both Fringe and Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles. Michael Aguilar and Dean Georgiras are producing, with Andrew Cosby and his Boom! Studios partner Ross Ritchie exec producing.
