I think they're better than ever. They're grown so much musically. I love metal, but it's nice to see that they realized they have much more to offer than just screaming and yelling and only using three power chords every song. They've grown up. What's wrong with that?

I really thought it was a short film that had a lot of thought put into it. The visuals were done nicely. I was trying to figure out what the hell was going on, it wasn't making any sense, which held my interest, than it all made sense in the end. A really good short film. Shawn has a bright future as a director, I know P.R. Brown made it sleek, but Shawn really did a great job too. If this is what it takes to keep the band together than I'm all for it, short film to their music.

Slipknot may not be the hard ass band they started out as, but no one does. What is important is when they play live. I've been to TONS of their shows and they are STILL SOLID 10 years later live. The Jagermeister tour a couple years back was nothing but old hits, and they still sounded hard as hell. Just as hard as they did on the "tattoo the earth" tour back in 99-2000, if not harder.

metal is metal. people need to quit categorizing all of it and being music snobs. Slipknot is a good band and this song is very good. the video is very haunting and i appreciate the fact that they made a short film instead of a lame ass video.

BLACKMETALl wants nothing more than garbage. You probably like cradle of filth huh? When Slipknot started out they were just as hard as anyone. Cory may not growl like Skinny Puppy, but he is still metal. HE was tired of tearing up his voice EVERY night. They caught on and went with it. But yeah, live, they still have it. Metal is metal, I wouldn't go as far as to not categorize it cause there is some dark stuff that makes no sense and you can't understand them....i know...it's more for the music, but than there is the hard stuff you can understand. Metallica used to be metal, the new CD is a step for them back to that. WHAT IS NOT metal are bands like Papa Roach and Theory of a Deadman and all that crap. SLIPKNOT IS METAL, GET OVER IT! They may not have as many metal songs, but once you are a metal band, yo are forever. Your old music doesn't just disappear, and they STILL play it.

If you just don't like them BLACKMETAL than go listen to garbage bands that you can't understand. I appreciate Skinny Puppy or Job for a Cowboy, Bleeding Through, and so on....but than there is just tons of garbage after that.

well yourmomma that right there shows you know nothing about metal assuming i like cof you should know they are not a bm band i no i dont like em hell i used to listen to slipknot back in high school but grew way out of that and for my garbage music i cant understand your right there most of my fav bands lyrics aren't in English so no i cant understand them unless i look up the English translations most of the bands u listen are probebly about one thing $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ have fun with your teenager music
