Yes it did, i dont know about how much money it made but nowadays that doesnt matter as much as it used to but the movie was a huge suprise it was great and not what most people expected it to be.

prequels suck when they come after an originally named sequel. so yea this vacancy prequel should've came out before vacancy and then it wud've been better because i'm guessin every character is goin to die in this new prequel coming out and it sucks to know that.

How could a prequel come out before the original? If it had it would then be 'the' original and not a prequal anymore! And im pretty sure that when they made Vacancy they were not thinking "i know, a prequal to this will be good"
