Cox to Direct Dark Castle's Summoner

James Cox (Wonderland) has signed on to direct The Summoner for Dark Castle, the house of horror that brought us House on Haunted Hill and House of Wax.

This one, written by Matthew Sand, is described as a psychological horror film about a dude who summons a "supernatural being." When his control slips, he must stop the evil he has loosed on our world. Sand co-wrote the screenplay for another Dark Castle film Ninja Assassin which arrives in 2009.

Filming begins in Portland, Oregon this January.

the theme of thestory is good, but really the last movie that this studio made was rock&rollar, and that was fun to see.
