Update: Final cover art is below!
Festival favorite The Burrowers is making its way to DVD on April 21st. Lionsgate Home Entertainment is packaging J.T. Petty's "western with a horrific, monstrous twist" with a trio of special features which include:
• The Burrowers: Making a Horror Western featurette
• Digging up The Burrowers: Creating the Monster featurettes
• Audio commentary with writer/director JT Petty and actor Karl Geary
Clancy Brown, William Mapother, Doug Hutchison and Sean Patrick Thomas star in the film as a group of men searching for missing settlers. In their journey, they discover the danger they face is not from a local Native American tribe but from beneath their feet. Rob Hall's Almost Human FX supplies the creatures. The Burrowers is definitely worth a look.

Lionsgate better keeep the OAR of 2:35:1 for this release and not crop to 1:78:1 like they did with Christopher Smith's Creep. The cinematography in this film is outstanding.

And where is Cabin Fever 2 Lionsgate?
The Burrowers is like a bad episode of Bonanza, with some horrible CG creatures that look like leftovers from the set of Wes Craven's THEY.
